Keyword Searching

Keyword searching is the best kind to use when starting your research because it allows you to search all of the fields of a database record at the same time.

Keyword search finds words in author, title, year, subject headings, and abstract

Using connectors in your keyword search allows you to combine more than one topic in a search, for example, "tobacco and advertising."
